Alexis J:son Wahlström

Alexis works mainly with commercial contracts, disputes and transactions, with a specialisation in IT/telecom and private M&A. With over twenty years of experience in the IT industry, as both an entrepreneur and an advisor, he brings extensive knowledge on both client-side and server-side technologies. Alexis excels in advising companies on structural and commercial terms and is a seasoned litigator, known for his ability to present complex information in a simple way in disputes. His expertise and strategic insights make him a valuable asset to any legal team and his educational manner is greatly appreciated.

Anders Fernlund

Anders is a partner of ASTRA Law in Stockholm, Sweden, where he heads the Franchising and Distribution Law department. He has represented domestic and international franchise systems present in Sweden for the last 40 years. He holds a Ph.D. in private law, with a dissertation comparing franchise laws in 36 countries around the world. He also holds an M.B.A. in the field of accounting and auditing. In addition to his legal practice, Anders is a visiting researcher and senior lecturer at Stockholm University.

Anders is the Honorary President of the EuroFranchise Lawyers, an Honorary member and General Counsel to the Swedish Franchise Association (SFA) and vice chair of its Ethical Board. He is also a former chair of the SFA and a former senior vice-chair of the International Franchising Committee of the IBA. He is the Swedish member of the Legal Committee of the European Franchise Federation.

Anders has written many books and articles on Swedish and European franchising and chapters on Sweden in many international publications such as the International Franchise Sales Laws and Fundamentals of Franchising Europe. He has been recognised in the International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers for many years.

Anders Thylin

Anders works with Swedish and international business law, with a focus on franchising, agency law and other distribution legal issues. In his work, he acts as a representative in public courts, arbitration and extrajudicial negotiations. In addition to being a legal representative, he writes contracts, provides advice on corporate law matters and assists in transfers. Anders has been selected by the International Distribution Institute as Country Expert Franchising - Sweden. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Carl-Gustav Lönnborg

Carl-Gustav specialises in transfers of properties and various types of usufruct rights, as well as construction and planning matters. He worked in banking and financing, and as general counsel in real estate brokerage and investment companies, before co-founding a law firm in 1991.

Caroline Silfverskiöld

Caroline works in all of the firm's business areas, with a particular focus on construction law, real estate law and insurance law. She has previous experience from work at a district court.

Conny Cedermark

Conny works mainly as a private and public defender/representative in business-related criminal law. The assignments relate to, among other things, tax and corruption, breaches of trust and creditor crime matters. Conny has many years of experience in the field and has participated in a number of extensive and high-profile cases. In addition to business-related criminal law, Conny works with commercial dispute resolution, mostly within real estate law.

Göran Smedberg

Göran has worked with labour law matters since 1990, first within a union and, after that, at various law firms. Göran also works as a public and private defender in cases involving work environment violations. Göran is a popular teacher and lecturer. Hampus Bergström

Hampus works mainly with business-related criminal law. His assignments include, among other things, internal investigations and defense work in matters concerning securities market offenses, tax crimes, corruption, breach of trust, and creditor offenses. Hampus has been involved in a number of extensive and high-profile cases. In addition to business-related criminal law, Hampus also works with dispute resolution and regulatory matters.

Hans Näsbrandt

Hans has worked with tax matters since 2007. He advises companies and private individuals, and regularly assists international clients with questions regarding establishment and taxation in Sweden, permanent establishments, tax due diligences of Swedish companies, tax treaty interpretation and cross-border taxation.

Jacob Lindblom

Jacob works as a private and public defender/representative in business-related criminal law. In addition, Jacob works with commercial dispute resolution and contract law.

Jakob Lundberg

Jakob graduated from Lund University in 2020 and has been part of ASTRA ADVOKATER since 2023. He works in all of the firm's business areas, but with a particular focus on litigation and commercial agreements.

Joakim Sundqvist

Joakim focuses on transactions and commercial disputes. He specialises in private M&A and has over 25 years’ experience as an advisor in transactions, financing and investments. He has broad knowledge of industrially and financially driven businesses in a variety of industries, with particularly deep knowledge of real estate law and within the energy sectors. Joakim is also an experienced litigator in commercial disputes before courts and arbitration boards. He has strong experience in pursuing extensive and financially complicated cases, where his ability to cut through complexity and succinctly present opaque processes is particularly valuable.

Johan Cederberg

Johan graduated from Uppsala University in 2020 and joined ASTRA ADVOKATER after completing his studies. Johan works primarily with Swedish and international business law, focusing on corporate law, transactions (M&A) and commercial agreements. Johan has expertise in tech, particularly matters related to GDPR and AI. Johan retains assignments as data protection officer.

Johan Engborg

Johan specialises in intellectual property rights, especially trademark law and copyright, as well as commercial tenancy law. In addition, he works with general issues in business law and helps his clients, like an ‘in-house lawyer’, with sales and contract law matters, such as partnership agreements, commission agreements, corporate matters, etc. Johan also handles disputes within his specialist areas.

John Tengström

Since 1997, John has been working as an advisor to entrepreneurs and owner-led companies in various stages and of various sizes. With a passionate commitment to business, and experience in law, business development, IT and telecom, as well as banking and finance, he focuses mainly on corporate matters, transactions, agreements and compliance. John is the obvious choice for entrepreneurs in need of support. He likes to discuss how business models can be reshaped in the light of new technology and what opportunities there may be in applicable regulations.

Karin Söderén

Karin works with Swedish and international business law, with a focus on corporate law, disputes and public procurement. She regularly represents private individuals and companies in a wide range of disputes, including in general courts, administrative courts and arbitral proceedings. Karin has extensive experience of assisting with public procurements, both during the tendering process and during review, and also writes commercial agreements.

Lotta specialises in business law, contract law, transactions and litigation.

Matilda Westerberg

Matilda works mainly with commercial dispute resolution and is specialised in the areas of construction law, real estate law and tenancy law. She acts as a representative in public courts, arbitration proceedings and out-of-court negotiations. She has previous experience from work at a district court and for a public utility landlord.

Ramona Hedqvist

Ramona graduated from Stockholm University in 2024 and prior to that was part of ASTRA ADVOKATER's student pool, starting in 2021. She works in all of the firm's business areas, with a particular focus on business-related criminal law.

Sara Andersson

Sara has worked with indirect taxes, mainly VAT, since 2006. She specialises in VAT advice related to mixed businesses and the travel industry. She has strong experience of VAT disputes, thanks to having helped companies in various instances. Sara is also a valued lecturer. She is regularly commissioned to tailor VAT training sessions for her clients.

Stephan Eriksson

Stephan studied aviation law at the Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL) at McGill University in Montréal, Canada. IASL's aviation law training ranks as one of the best in the world. Who's Who Legal has named Stephan one of the best aviation lawyers in the world.

Stephan has extensive experience of representing airlines and helicopter operators, flight brokers and tour operators. He also works with aviation accidents and product liability in aviation. ASTRA ADVOKATER is a member of L2b Aviation (https://l2baviation.com/), an international network of 59 aviation-specialised law firms representing airlines, financiers, leasing companies, manufacturers, insurance companies, airports, export credit boards and many others.

Stephan has particular experience with passenger rights and EU Regulation 261/2004.

Stephan also works with construction law, contract law and business-related disputes in courts and arbitration proceedings.

Stephan is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the European Aviation Lawyers Association (EALA). He is also the former chairman of the PEOPIL's Aviation special interest group, where he remains part of the organising team of the McGill University/PEOPIL biannual conferences on INTERNATIONAL AVIATION: LIABILITY, INSURANCE AND FINANCE.

Ulrika Greghammar

Ulrika has worked with legal advice at various law firms since 2008. Ulrika mainly works with Swedish and international business law, with a focus on commercial agreements, corporate law matters and company transfers. Ulrika also has extensive experience in real estate matters and commercial tenancy law. She assists in the transfer of real estate, in matters relating to all types of use rights, planning and construction issues, and with advice to housing associations.
